John Kenneth Knight

John Knight grew up along the banks of the Missouri River in central Montana. His favorite activities were exploring the twists and turns of the river, on foot, by raft and canoe, looking for beaver, deer and blue herons. Family vacations were spent in Glacier National Park and the Rocky Mountains.

In college he took up mountain climbing, backpacking, cross country skiing and snow camping.

His photography attempts to capture the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the wildlife so that others can appreciate what we have and, hopefully, try to preserve it for future generations.
