This morning we got up and went to an animal orphanage and saw all sorts of animals (it was set up like a zoo). They had hippos, albino zebras (their stripes were orange), lions, rhinos, bush bucks, dik diks (!!!), and crocodiles.

After that we went to this cultural center where they had this trail and little villages set up like all the different houses of the tribes in Kenya. They were pretty cool, but after a while they all began to look alike only varying slightly (once you’ve seen one mud hut-you’ve seen them all).
We had gone to the supermarket earlier and got food for lunch. So we sat outside on a hill and ate. While we were eating, an entire herd of Baboons walked across the parking lot and through someone's backyard not more than 30 feet away from us. There were entire families and lots of babies (so cute!).
After that we went to the dance performance at the cultural center. It was really cool-they had traditional dances of the different tribes in East Africa (even one from Uganda).
Then we came back had dinner, and have been watch a lot of crappy television ever since (you may be thinking “You’re in Kenya for heaven’s sake! Go do something exciting!” Well if you spent the last month reading or talking every night for your only source of entertainment by oil lamp, then you would welcome a little mindless amusement as well).
