The Dolly Varden
(Salvelinus malma)

The sea run version of the Bull Trout. It is a member of the char species. Coloration is what separates the char from salmon and trout. Char have light markings on a darker body background.

The Dolly Varden varies in size and coloration, with cream spots above the lateral line and pink below.
