The Golden Trout
(Oncorhynchus aguabonita)

A rare and exotic species of trout.Trout, salmon and char begin their life cycle with banded markings on their sides called parr marks. While most species loose these by two years of age,the Golden Trout  retains its parr marks for life. Golden Trout coloration is brilliant and distinct with a green back, golden sides, red tinged gill covers, and white tips on the dorsal and pelvic fins.
